The invitation

Presence becomes a place you can live from.

Awakened Hearts brings two powerful streams into respectful conversation: the stillness and discernment of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, and the embodied awareness of Sacred Tantra.

Across five carefully paced days, practice moves from the mat into breath, meditation, relationship and everyday life. Nothing is forced. The work is invitational, grounded and spacious enough for genuine experience.

The inner journey

Two paths. One field of awareness.

Complementary traditions are explored with clarity—without claiming they are historically the same.

01

Patanjali Yoga Sutra

The art of steady attention

Yoga as a complete path: ethical awareness, asana, pranayama, concentration, meditation, inner stillness and self-enquiry.

02

Sacred Tantra

The sacredness of embodied life

Presence, energy and conscious connection, including Vijnana Bhairava Tantra-inspired meditations that invite awareness through breath, sensation and direct experience.

The retreat experience

Move. Breathe. Listen. Reconnect.

The programme balances energising practice with rest, spiritual teaching, nature and integration.

01

Yoga & asana

Conscious movement, strength, softness and the body as a source of intelligence.

02

Pranayama & kriyas

Carefully prepared breath and energy practices, offered with grounded guidance.

03

Meditation & Yoga Nidra

Guided stillness, concentrated awareness and the restorative depth of conscious rest.

04

Sound healing

Immersive sound sessions supporting deep listening, rest and integration.

05

Vijnana Bhairava

Tantra-inspired contemplations that approach ordinary sensation as a doorway into awareness.

06

Conscious connection

Presence, boundaries, communication and relational practice held with respect and choice.

Yoga practice at an earlier Awakened Hearts gathering in Sweden

The unfolding story

From Sweden to the Himalayas.

Awakened Hearts began its living story through intimate gatherings in Sweden—practice, nature, community and meaningful connection.

Rishikesh is a new chapter: distinctly Indian, immersed in Himalayan landscape and deepened through classical yoga and sacred Tantra.

Questions

Come informed.
Arrive as you are.

Do I need previous yoga or meditation experience?

No. Newer and experienced practitioners are welcome. Sessions include options, and you are encouraged to work within your own capacity.

Do I need to attend with a partner?

No. Come alone, with a friend or with a partner. Connection practices do not require you to arrive with someone.

What do the Tantra-inspired practices involve?

Presence, energy, expanded awareness, boundaries and conscious relating. Partner practices are optional and no romantic or sexual contact is required.

How are Patanjali and Vijnana Bhairava Tantra held together?

As complementary streams, not one historical tradition. Patanjali informs the classical yoga path; Vijnana Bhairava-inspired meditations bring an embodied Tantric lens to direct experience.

Are meals and transfers included?

The venue offers breakfast service and can arrange transport, but the final retreat meal plan and transfer inclusion are awaiting confirmation. They will be stated clearly before payment.

How do I reserve a place?

Use WhatsApp or the short enquiry form. We confirm availability, suitability, deposit and terms in writing before you pay.
